Macaroni & White Sauce

Macaroni & White Sauce

  • 3 cups macaroni
  • 4 med onions
  • 4 Tbs margarine (Nutellex)
  • 4 Tbs plain flour
  • 4 cups soy milk (So Good)
  • 2 tsp salt
  • few shakes mixed herbs
  • 1.5 Tbs yeast flakes

Method

  1. Boil macaroni with chopped onion in large saucepan until done.
  2. Melt margarine in saucepan.
  3. Add flour.
  4. Stir and cook 1 minute.
  5. Gradually add soy milk.
  6. Stir constantly.
  7. Add more soy milk if needed.
  8. Add salt.
  9. Add herbs.
  10. Add yeast flakes.
  11. Add white sauce to macaroni.
  12. Mix in well.
  13. Serve it up... goes well with steamed broccoli and fresh tomato.
NOTE: White sauce will burn if stove on high heat, or you don't keep stirring it.
