19 April 2007 - Mark Finley at Uni MelbMark Finley presented an exciting talk at the University of Melbourne today. He shared his search for purpose and certainty in life. The presentation showed how archeology and historical facts support and give credibility to the Holy Bible. Prophecies have been fulfilled, and "missing" kings mentioned in the Bible, have now been proved to exist from recent discoveries. Apart from people from ASOC club or the church, about 50 students from the University attended the one-off lecture! People are becoming more interested and aware of the world around them, and are asking real-life questions. Mark Finley presented some excellent philosophical concepts, and answered objections and questions in a way the thinking person could not disagree with.
I took notes, and was glad I could attend. Mark Finley next speaks this Saturday afternoon at North Melbourne Town Hall. Over 1000 people are expected to attend.
