Feeling a bit tired at the moment, but was really a great weekend! I spent Friday arvo to Sunday arvo at Lake Somerset, which was the campsite for the Esk Summer Church Camp for 2005.

We opened Sabbath on Friday evening and had tea. On Sabbath, we had "outdoor" church and heard some positive spiritual messages from Pastor Grolimund, which was really encouraging. He was our camp speaker, and spoke about many good topics, including: prayer overcomes all difficulties; we need to trust in God and not ourselves; God's protection; and miraculous stories in the mission fields!

We had an afternoon program and some went for a walk (but I didn't). Shem left in the afternoon. He stayed in my tent and had a good yarn, and he introduced me to the first line of a song, "Hello Blue Sky", which I have yet to hear.

Then played games and sat around the bonfire on Saturday night. Sunday (today) we had a great time in the lake with the canoes, tipping people out and just enjoying the sun and water. Had lunch, packed up, went home, unpacked.

I also gave my car a vacuum after the trip, and it feels much better now. Tea etc, and now, signing off...
