4 April 2005 - Kozzy Journal Day 2

I began the day taking a few dawn photo shots, shower, say g'bye to Levi (he left at 6am) and some devotional time. Breakfast was next (again, nice) and we washed up, said g'bye to Mr Gardner. Packed our stuff, sang a few songs, and left Inverell (bye). Only 1km down the road the car was doing it's funny carby problem thing. I pulled over and turned the engine off. I prayed that the car would work, have no troubles, and thanked God for they nice trip we've already had. I turend the key, and it went fine after that! Thanks to God for helping the car work. Whenever I think that the car might not work soon, I immediately think that God has it all under control and He'll look after us, no matter which way it goes. We headed to Bundarra (paid 122.9 c/L for petrol!!!), then to Barraba, and Gunnedah. Not too bad a road. About a third of it was gravel, and we went over about 3 dozen cattle grids! We munched lunch after Gunnedah. Coonabarrabran was next and we had to skip Warrumbungles National Park coz we were pushed for time. That was a little unfortunate. We pushed on to Gilgandra, filled the tank, went for a walk and headed for Dubbo (where Mum used to live!).

After Dubbo, we checked out the Parkes Radio Telescope and that was pretty neat. Visitors centre was closed because we were too late, but we got one or two shots. And, now, we find ourselves at Macca's.
