Personal History of Brad Warden

I was born on 9 August 1983 in the Royal Women's Hospital in the city of Brisbane, capital of Queensland, Australia. I was born into a family of two older brothers and lived in the Brisbane northside suburb of Albany Creek, attending Michelton Seventh-day Adventist Church, where I was dedicated.

At the age of 4, we moved house to the suburb of Petrie (also on the northside) and a year later I began my schooling in grade 1 and attended Northpine Christian College (previously known as "Pine Rivers Adventist School" and "Brisbane North Adventist College"). As a family, we attended the Pine Rivers Seventh-day Adventist Church (next to the school) for close to 10 years, where I was baptised on 29 July 1995. I enjoyed school, made many friends and had an interest in Maths and Science. We attended Redcliffe Seventh-day Adventist Church for about a year, and in Year 9, on 3 September 1997, our family made the move to the country ... to Toowoomba (135 km west of Brisbane)!

I was soon enrolled in Christian Outreach College Toowoomba, where I completed year 9, 10 and 11. Some of my best days I spent at this school. We attended Toowoomba Westridge Seventh-day Adventist Church and later Highfields Seventh-day Adventist Church. At the end of 1999, we moved to Dalveen (120km south of Toowoomba) to a 200 acre property and worshipped God at the Stanthorpe SDA Church each Sabbath. At Dalveen, I completed year 12 through the Brisbane School of Distance Education and graduated as Dux of the school for 2000.

I then moved back to Toowoomba at the start of 2001 to study Information Technology at the University of Southern Queensland. I boarded with friends and attend Toowoomba Central SDA Church, and later, Highfields SDA Church, where I have been attending since. My studies progressed well, and I worked at the Student IT Helpdesk at USQ for 2002. While studying, I also worked as a tutor's assistant for Foundation Computing and did some casual work cabling. I then was offered my current job as IT support for USQ staff in August 2003, and am completing my studies, hoping to be finished at 12:15 pm, 2 July 2004. During my living at home and abroad, I lived in Middle Ridge (Toowoomba), Highfields, Murphys Creek, and now in Cablarlah, where I am safe back at home.

For now, it is head down, tail up, to make sure I pass all my subjects and complete my degree.

Update...

Since finishing my degree I have been attending Esk SDA Church and continue working at USQ as Systems Administrator (Macintosh).

Next year (2007) has different plans... moving to Melbourne!
